At Checkerboard Pizza, owner, baker and James Beard Award-winner Ken Forkish offers a lineup of 18” round pies, available by the slice or as whole pies, to stay or to go, in a style that marries New York and Italian pizza styles.
Checkerboard Pizza also sells pastries and breads from our sister bakery Trifecta Tavern + Bakery on SE 6th Ave., right across the river. Breads and pastries are delivered via bicycle courier daily.
